The UFC moved back to Brazil this past weekend, with a headline event of light heavyweight mainstay Jan Blchowicz up against former middleweight contender Jacare Souza \u2013 marking Jacare\u2019s first outing at 205lbs.\u00a0 It turned out to be a fairly well matched fight, but it was Blachowicz who came out victorious with a split decision<\/p>\n

Co-main event of the evening featured Mauricio Shogun Rua against Scotlands Paul Craig.\u00a0 Craig took the fight on short notice, standing in for the injured Sam Alvey.\u00a0 This one will never go down in history as one of the best fights ever, and few would disagree that the Split Draw was probably the fairest outcome.\u00a0 No winner, no loser \u2013 although Craig made a point of stating post fight that he was disappointed in his performance and vowed to do better next time out.<\/p>\n
