This weeks UFC action came from Tampa in Florida, and featured as the main event at Strawweight between former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Michelle Waterson.\u00a0 Whilst she put up a valiant battle, Waterson just did not have the skills to get past a resurgent Jedrzejcyk.\u00a0 This should do wonders for Jedrzejczyk\u2019s push to become number one contender and a credible opponent to current champion Weili Zhang.<\/p>\n

The co-main event featured the ever-popular Cub Swanson up against Kron Gracie at 145 lbs, in a thrilling encounter.\u00a0 Swanson used all of his experience and came out victorious over Gracie.\u00a0 Swanson was dominant in round one and for most of round two, but whilst he did begin to tire, Gracie was not able to capitalise and make the most of his opportunities.\u00a0 This comes as a very welcome victory for Swanson, and somewhat of a lesson for Gracie<\/p>\n
