There has been a lot of rumours circulating about this fight recently, a lot of rumours saying that Canelo and Kovalev have reached an agreement and will be fighting very soon, meaning Canelo will need to make his way up to the light heavyweight division from the super middleweight division just to fight the light heavyweight champion Kovalev! This could be a historic fight if this is true, as of right now, nothing has been confirmed other than these two wanting to fight each other and that its on DAZN’s Wishlist!<\/p>\n

Saul Alvarez could become the next world light heavyweight champion or could get his second ever career loss to Kovalev! Sergey Kovalev is currently the number one light heavyweight fighter in that division and currently 11th fighter in the lb for lb fighters as Canelo is top of the lb for lb and top of the middleweight ranking as well, so looking at the stats, Canelo should win this fight but he may not be use to the weight class.
