Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is the best lbs for lbs fighter in the world and is the face of boxing as of right now. He has fought some of the best fighters like GGG, Floyd Mayweather and Liam Smith, however even though Liam Smith did in fact lose to Canelo, he does believe that Callum Smith will beat the Mexican if they ended up fighting in the future! Two of the best in the middleweight division need to come forward and fight! Canelo v Smith.<\/p>\n

Callum Smith is said to be the guy that will beat Canelo as well as Floyd Mayweather… says Liam Smith! The former world champion Liam smith believes that Callum will be able to beat Canelo if they had a fight. It’s been rumoured for so long now that Canelo will be fighting Callum, but the rumours never seem to go through. The boxing world have been waiting for this fight to happen; however, we could be seeing it happen soon! He told BBC Sport: “I think if anyone beats Canelo, it’s Callum Smith.”<\/p>\n

Right now, it’s seeming very unlikely that Alvarez will be fighting Smith any time soon, since he could be completing another fight with Gennady Golovkin. The third encounter between these two fighters! This fight between Callum Smith and Saul Alvarez will only happen either at the end of this year or halfway through the start of next year, since Canelo wants to fight GGG before fighting anyone else!<\/p>\n
