The second ever UFC event in Russia took place this past weekend, with the Octagon landing in St Petersburg, and it was the second event that Aleksei Oneinik had headlined. \u00a0Oleinik came out fighting from the bell, and looked to have caught Overeem on a number of occasions, but \u201cThe Reem\u201d showed his experienced and weathered the storm and landed a number of telling blows and came out victorious with a first round knock out.\u00a0 Although heading towards the twilight of his fighting career, Overeem is still keen to clinch the one award or title that has eluded him so far \u2013 the UFC Championship belt.\u00a0 Anotgher fight or two, with victories, this year could see Overeem get his title shot.<\/p>\n
